Ross and Anglin was founded by James Ross in 1934; he had a vision for a company that would provide quality construction at a competitive cost. He was joined in 1946 by Douglas G. Anglin and together they built a company that undertook new opportunities brought on by the post-war boom.
In 1957 two senior managers, Gerald F. Ryan and Frank G. Shaughnessy, who had a long history of working at Ross and Anglin bought the company and continued to build on the original vision, which remains with today's current ownership - The Thompson Family. The company has continued to grow; it has opened offices in Toronto (1985) and Ottawa/Gatineau (1988). Over the years, the number and complexity of the construction projects have continued to grow and Ross and Anglin has always been up to the challenge. Our skills and abilities have allowed the company to thrive into the 21st century.
We are a people oriented company, that has developed long standing client relationships from generation to generation based on the same trusted principles and values. After 70 years in business, Ross & Anglin remain leaders in the construction industry, combining history with modern day business sense
